Simple step by step for painting walls

Here is my simple step by step on how I painted up the walls for my desert table.  

Base coat with Krylon Brown Boots.
 

Heavy coverage of watered down Dark Burnt Umber.  In hindsight it would have been better to find a spray base coat that was this color.

  

Heavy over brush of Mud stone.  Given the deep texture on the stone you need to heavily scrub this color on as you don't want much of the previous color showing.  It took me a few passes with this color to get it as it appears in the picture below. 


Heavy dry brush of Sandstone, just leave a little Mud stone showing.  I found almost a circular stenciling motion of the brush worked good to get into the texture.


Light dry brush of Raw Linen.
